Have you checked it out yet? Nicely put together web site by the way.

Thanks, I yanked it and had it checked out at NAPA the last time time my electrical system was giving me fits this summer and it was putting out a little over a 100 amps. The guy thought it was an error until I told him it was upgraded to 105. So I got my nickels worth out of that upgrade. I am currently putting that alternator in my Cherokee as a second unit in the place of the AC compressor to run some lights and other goodies. I figured that it would be easier to do that and run heavier guage new wires than to upgrade all of the old stuff right away. I just have to get the second battery in place, the wiring and a bracket and it is a go. I will be asking some Q's about wiring it all up and what all I will need to make a second fully operational electrical system when I am ready to run it all. See what I get for reading an article on how to make an OBW? :D

I've taken pics and I will do an article on it. I just want to make sure it all will work before I write it all up. The OBW or "bogger welder" :D is supposedly good for anything up to 1/8 plate which is all you'd need for most trail repairs. We shall see! ;)

I finished up the bracketry tonight and painted it. All I have left for that portion is to go and get a fan belt that will fit.
