For those of you with this combo, can you get any pics of the location of your 4wd shifter as it sits in the truck. I was looking at my D18 tonight and I noticed that the shifters are going to be further back than the original. I need to see where they sit factory before I start cutting holes in the floor. Thanks.

That picture helped out a lot. I need to figure out how and which way to bend my shifters so they come out of the original factory hole. Thanks.

PC,
actually there were 2 different locations depending on the year. your existing floor cover should have a plate screwed on the rt side, that hole is where the later D20 shifter came thru. The Early Wags had the shifter on the DRIVER's side of the tranny and if you look at your floor cover down by the gas pedal there is an eliptical "tab", that is where the shifter came thru.

I see what you are talking about with the cut out on the drivers side. I had the D20 originally and it came out the passenger side. It was matted to a T-85 though. That is shorter than the TH400. It looks like I am going to have to cut holes in the floor between the seats. I think that is easier than extended the shifters on the D18. Plus it will be easier to shift since I won't have to bend over to shift the t-case.
