Do you have rubbing problems? I am running a 4" spring lift and there is about 2" between the spring and the tires when they are turned all the way in either direction. With these W/Ts I can't eyeball any place where they would be rubbing. I would like some input from anyone running these tires.

I think they might hit the frame in the back of the front wheel well, and the spring in the front. I can get mine to rub at full lock sometimes, although with the DPA, the turning radius is substantially less.

What offset are you running? Rim width?

I went with stock offset (3 5/8")15X8 Rockcrawlers and, while I haven't fully exercised the suspension at full lock, I don't think I'll have any rub action.

I've got the same on mine. Haven't figured out what kind of susp. lift I've got, but it's about 3-4" and no rub. I don't turn that sharply either. It makes my power steering scream.

I need to take another look at mine now. Are you guys running drop pitman arms? It makes a difference. They reduce the turning radius, so it throws the wheels into the body alot less. I'm using one, and for the most part, I don't have any problems. Maybe it was only rubbing under compression, I can't remember now.

My suspension is dead stock, the previous owner thought the 33's looked better so he put them on. I have not had any problems with less turning radius, but they do rub the frame (Actually the rear rail of the stock grill guard where it attaches to the frame) towards the back of the wheel well and then only at full steering lock. But on the 79's and 80's they were an inch-and-a-half higher than the other years from the factory.

On another note they do make the speedo read 3mph low and I do plan on going back to stock size 31's until I can afford a lift (which may be a while).

I have 33x12.5's on my rig with a sagging stock suspension and they do not rub the frame while turning at all. They do rub the fenders on big bumps but it's easy to see why there. I have them on 15x10" rims so that may make a difference. I'm not sure of the off-set if any.
