I am going to be getting a passenger side knuckle from a chevy D44. I need to have it machined to accept high crossover steering. Does anyone know if a good machine shop can do it? also are there any web sites out there that explain it. Thanks.

Bryant... you still need to buy the steering arm and best to buy that first to get the machining and drilling/tapping correct. The knuckle had to be a pre-76 flattop.
Parts Mike (http://www.partsmike.com/catalog/) had the stuf you need already... try giving him a call.
C&C machine shop is right there on 4 1/2 E off 32nd st going towards the Foothills.... they are the ones that tapped my draglink for me.

I am trying to avoid spending more than I have to. I don't really need the crossover steering it is just going to be nice to have. I can get the knuckle for free am just wondering if it is worth the trouble or not. C&C quoted me $55. Is there a site that tells you about what is involved in the machining?
