Hello,
My emergency lock out light will not come on. I’m going to investigate today. Some questions. (1) The bulb works, how do I check the wiring to the bulb? (2) How can I tell if the lockout is working? I've driven on the street lately and don't remember any problems turning, I have a wobble though. (3) I hear a hissing from the area of the glove box switch hopefully the vacuum lines. How often do the switches themselves go bad? (4) There is a device that draws and holds vacuum, does any one have a favorite? Or does anyone know of one I should avoid, I hate buying cheap to buy the correct tool later. (5) The diaphragm looking device at the other end, how do I test that and how do I replace it if it is bad?
By the way I've spent the first week of my two week vacation working on my jeeps. I've had a gasoline shower, scraped all my knuckles, My hands look like I've been arm wrestling a pole cat, droped a floor jack on my foot, ruined two tee shirts, and burnt my fore arm on my exhaust. It's still better than the best week working!
Thanks for the help.
