Body part interchange

I know the story on the doors but what about switching fenders , hoods and tail gates .
I have picked up a few wagoneers and cherokees to use as parts for the rebuild of my 87 GW and I was wondering if any body pieces were of use.

Most of the GW parts will interchange. Soem of the Cherokee parts might also. Never had a Cherokee for parts so I can't answer that.

I have W/T Chero fenders on my Waggie...

Little things change between the years.. but for the most part.. they interchange....

hoods can differ in the front... some have no cross peice.. some do.. it just depends

Striker plates and latches changed in mid/late 1979, 2 door Chero and Jtruck doors are the same as the 4 door front doors. Some place in the mid 70's the bottom of the tailgate lip changed, so your on your own making the older ones seal up correctly.
