Have a Trans/Tranfer Leak

the spacer that goes between the trans and the transfer case is leaking..

I had a rebuilt trans put in by a local friend at his repair shop.

Since this install it has leakes from the spacer.
I can't take it back to the shop as it no longer is in service. Mechanic/Friend passed away. he gave the shop to his kid, and I wouldn't let the kid work on my mower let alone my wagon..

What goes between the spacer and trans. spacer and the transfer case is there some kind of seal? and or gasket?

and what would be a reasonible price to get this fixed? as i have to find a new mechanic now.

Paper gasket, I would guess a shop would charge for 2 hours to replace it.

looked like a giant Ham. Oh the fed ex girl was not happy. some trans fluid in the lines had leaked out. this was some time ago. u sent it to me...
