Please I need help TESTING REAR WIPER

I FOUND A LOW PROFILE REAR WIPER ASSEMBLY AT A LOCAL BONEYARD THE GUY WAS ASKING 50 BUCKS FOR IT IS THIS A GOOD PRICE ??? AND HOW DO i TEST IT TO SEE IF IT WORKS ?

Hook it up to a battery. Red wire to positive, black wire to negative. If the motor works, it should turn over.

I paid $100 for mine from a boneyard in Florida I found on the Internet. They're hard to find so I'd snatch it up at any price. You can mix and match parts from your current one and get it to work if it doesn't. There's also a good article on them in the tech section. They reason they fail is water gets in where the shaft is and siezes it up. If you get one working put a piece of tube over the shaft and fill it with grease. :eek:
