Installed the front shocks, which took a while to get here because they were special order. So now all four corners are Edelbrock IAS: #33408 up front and #34408 in back.

I couldn't think of anything to do to a stock-height, stock-tire-sized vehicle that would make a more dramatic improvement. Handling is almost like a sports car, especially with the new tie rods, balljoints, and polyurethane swaybar and endlink bushings.

The Jeep takes bumps really smooth. And when I brake there's almost no nosedive. Really incredible! I would recommend them to anyone willing to spend the cash -- there is a $27 rebate for buying four shocks before July 1.

the differant part numbers are because they are valved for the weight at the postion that they are going to be instaled at prolly a little stiffer in the front than rear so they are made differant ...

I asked that same question to Edelbrock, and this is exactly what they answered:

"The spring rates are slightly different so we have to make our shock different."

Fine by me.
