I charged the system with R134a and it leaked out somewhere in front of the radiator. Assume its the condenser. Can I get at it from the front, meaning by removing the grill? Or do I have to remove the radiator? Thanks.

radiator must be removed.... check the o-rings on the evaporator as well... did you change your o-rings from black to blue or green?

Remove the grill, then the radiator. You could probably do it without removing the grill. But it is easier to remove both for clearance.

Replace the receiver/dryer as well when doing this...while you are there. This is a must. Since you did a retrofit...this is a must.

As far as o-rings on the evap. Your rig should have flare fittings like mine not o-rings. Your condensor will have o-rings. Check all your fittings to see if you have any moisture...oil around them like RB said. The pressures of R134 will show a leak fast...as you have allready seen. I just did this on mine. Found any leaks quick. Good luck..
