what are the bigest tires I can safely put on my jeep with out upgrading my breaks and steering

Are the breaks little breaks or big breaks ? If they're little you should fix them before they turn into big ones. A bigger tire will probably make short work of little breaks turning them into really big breaks. smile.gif
Oh......... did you mean breaks as "breaks" or breaks as "brakes" ? ;)

Real big tires would probably put extra stress on the steering pump and worn steering components. Not sure what size tire constitutes "real big". River Beast would probably have the answers.

33's would be fine with the proper rebuild of the stock steering and brakes. 35's could use a double diagram booster from a J20 truck. Anything bigger than this I would upgrade both steering and brakes.
