View Full Version : how to trouble shoot cruise???

Okay, so the cruise went out on my 86 GW. Being quite a rookie with cruise I don't even know how to start trouble shooting it. It was working and I had to hit the brake, after that it wouldn't engage. Could it be the brake switch? How does it sense that the brake has been hit?

Great stuff,

Do you have the same thing for a ´79 cherokee , or is it the same system?

no that's all i have [scanned and posted]...i have the 88[i know where it is at least]....

might have the 80 ...not sure where i put them anymore...i'll check around...i'm sure the 83 would be similar enough,.. at least in concept...which sometimes helps more than anytging...as the diagrams for a 80 are there...but I'll check on the 80 manual I used to have somewhere...
