I have a 4 barrel motorcrap carb on my '74 401. It is stock as far as I can tell. I'm not sure exactly what model it would be. Anyways the secondaries are stuck, so I am going to pull it off and rebuild it. I have no experience with carbs what-so-ever. Where can I get, and what kind of rebuild kit do I want? I would like something on the performance/off-road side. Any suggestions for what has worked for you?

The model number of your carb is the 4350. I am not real sure on kits. I bought my kit for my motorcrap 2150 from checker and it is made by GP Sorenson. I just remembered that I did rebuild a 4300 that I had at one point. I bought the kit at Napa and it was the Napa name brand. That was a good kit and it even came with some extra parts for options.

I've also seen plenty of rebuild kits for 258s made by Sorrenson. they seem pretty good thus far.....

I think NAPA sells Echlin (sp?) kits.
