np 208 question

ok, this may be a foolish question but i have to ask. i was involved in the usual conversation here at work about jeeps when someone finds out i have more than one. but this time the np208 came up. this other guy who shall remain nameless, told me that a kit could be bought to change a chain driven 208 to all gears. after i gave him a sour face of disbelief, i thought it could be possible. or am i just dreaming.

please someone tell me that i havent been foolish to say that this kit or conversion does not exist. or am i foolish.

I've never heard of it, perhaps you could swap in a geardrive x-case?

i didnt think anyting was out there like it. but its something to think about though. i geuss this one would go under the what if catagory huh.
