Hello,
I'm going to replace both rocker panels in my M715, inner and outer. Will I need to weld some bracing to keep things from shifting while the rockers are removed?
Thanks.

Ive never done this on a FSJ, but I always brace the door apeture whenever I would do it on other vehicles. I had to spend a weekend for a friend who did it without bracing, sorting it out for him it was'nt funny thats for sure. :(
Of course in the bodyshop we had special turnbuckle braces that just clamped over the apeture seams and were then just adjusted slightly for a snug fit. Made life really easy. I've often wondered if you'd be able to rent such things.

MIKEL YOU WILL BE OK...BUT I WOULD DO JUST ONE SIDE AT A TIME  WITH THE WAGS,YOU WOULD HAVE MORE TROUBLE,DO TO THE LENGTH OF THE ROCKER,AND ALL THE DOORS!! BUT AS FAR AS WELDING IN BRACING,I NEVER DID SUCH A THING!! ANYTHING THAT YOU HAVE TO MOVE IN PLACE OR HOLD,YOU WOULD USE HYDUALLIC JACKS...OR.... PORTA-POWER(PUSH-PULL) OR A COME-A-LONG WITH SOME MO-CLAMPS!!!! smile.gif REMEMBER YOU HAVE TO,TAKE YOUR TIME AND DOOR GAPS AND DOOR FIT TO THE ROCKER IS MOST " IMPORTANT " ..TACK THE ROCKER TO FIT,CAS,YOU CAN ALLLLWAYS CUT OUT TACK WELDS AND REWELD!!!! smile.gif
