Headlamp switch

Can anyone offer instruction on changing my heaplamp Pull on/off switch?

If you have a std knob type switch (I don't know if chryco changed the later ones) reach up under the dash on the switch and there will be little spring loaded button near the the area where the switch meets the dash. Disconnect the battery and turn on the headlites, then push the button and pull the knob and shaft out. Use a large screw driver to remove the retaining nut from the front of the dash and then pull the switch down and unplug. When installing do the reverse until you get to the knob and shaft. That just pushes in, but be sure to push it in all the way.

Would need to know what year rig you have since Chyco year models used a different switch. The Chryco version you will need to pull the dash face off and remove the screws for the switch. If you have the push pull knob it is as Jeepbob explained. ;)

i thought my switch was bad since i had no low beams just high beams it turned out to be a burnt up dimmer switch and plug.
