fired up Buick 350!!!

Is there supposed to be a heat shield on the right side of the exhaust manifold on the 350? I am tired of melting my oil pressure line and catching my electrical on fire. :(

Yes there is one well actualy it is not a heat shield it is a heat riser housing. this housing gets hot as well and I would not think it will prevent meltdown. My thoughts on this is it will not mater if the heat riser is on there or not, it is the fact the line is to close to the manifold and must be moved. yes there is a heat shield, it is different than the riser and does fit onto and over the pass side manifold. try J&W Jeep in Antelope Valley, CA (near sacto) for the part if you are missing one
