View Full Version : Oil in the Air Filter
Airborne

Sorry if this is a bit cryptic, not sure what to call all the parts. I have a 1992 Jeep, just redid the head, and water pump and a few other things. But this was an issue before I did all that and it still is today. One of the houses that goes from the Rocker Arm Cover to the Air Filter case, seems to be leaking oil into the Air Filter. Any Ideas what this means and what I would need to fix it??

Sounds like a pcv problem ( positive crankcase ventilation) problem. If it is it should be addressed imediatly to avoid more serious oil leaks.
If you indeed drive a 1992 jeep I doubt it is a FSJ and you should take you question to a mini jeep board where people are more familiar with the system.
