My 91 Grand Wagoneer is navy blue (midnight blue...not sure what the factory called it)with no clear coat and small rust spots, (nothing too bad) on it. I am going to have it painted soon and even though my wood grain trim is in almost perfect condition, I need to take it off to fix two rust spots on the passenger door. If I take that off I will have to replace all of the other wood paneling so it will match. What type wood came standard? How much do I order? Is stripeman.com the best place to go? Any help would be appreciated?

I was going to just have them paint around the paneling, but the blasted thing runs too good to not fix the right way.

91 Wagoneerer,
For OEM 3m wood-grain decals go to: www.sharpline.com (http://www.sharpline.com) .They're in Wichita, KS. Or you can call: toll-free (800)888-4888. On the website click on "automotive" then click: "wood grain" I believe Marine Teak is the decal you need. That's what my '87 GW needed. If you can't match it from the picture on the website, maybe they will send you a small sample free. I've found they have the best prices.
Good luck,
Fitron 74

If you have a sense of adventure, you could apply a real wood veneer, and use whatever species you want...
