It was pretty interesting how they built a 30 over 401 and got a bunch of hp out of it. They addressed the oiling problem of the lifters in the back of the engine (which was interesting) and told the name of a place to get AMC stamped valve aluminum covers (I haven't checked it out for price yet) they looked pretty good though.
The high RPM's probably wouldn't work to well for what we do but the option is there if you want to use it.
The company that makes the valve covers is "Herman Lewis Racing". M.G.

Yes I did see that amc 401 get all most 500 hp. what a ride that would be. I liked the fact that a lot of stock parts were used.

I am watching it now, I would like to see their sister show, "Truckin" do a low rpm, high torque 401 truck motor...much more appropriate for a heavy, daily driven multi-purpose rig like my Wag.

I was it. Nice build up. It should re-run in a few months. I think you can go to tnn.com and order copies of episodes.
