what carbs will swap out for a rochester 2V on a 350 dauntless??

Just my opinion Rick but I would rebuild the 2G. I've run those carbs on a lot of rigs including Land Cruisers and I like'm. They're no-brainer simple to work on and they've worked really well for me in the past. Only probs I've ever run into with them because all were old carbs is that the throttle plate rod wears the body so the most need to have the throttle plate rod holes bushed but it's no big deal to have done and you're good to go another 100,000 miles.

i would agree. the rochester is not a bad carb,definately worth rebuilding or replacing.

if you really want somethin else,get the mr gasket adapter and you could run a motorcraft or holley 2bbl. i used it for awhile with a motorcraft until i switched to a q jet.

thanks guys, i re-built this one once. maybe i'll have the t-plate rod holes re-bushed.
