I got my rear switch to work for the first time since I bought the Wag. A PO bypassed a bad switch and made spaghetti out of the wiring. I was going to replace the switch until I called the dealer for a price! http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/frown.gif
Anyway, I was at the salvage yard and found a
80-something New Yorker. I took out an electric window switch and wiring. With a little fabrication on the bracket& some rewiring, I now have a functioning rear window. http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/smile.gif
Baling wire & duct tape... I can fix anything! http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/biggrin.gif

This is actually the same technique that AMC engineers and designers used when putting together the original vehicles. http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/biggrin.gif "Hey Fred, I found a switch in this old Crysler that we can use!" "Great George, I got a distributor off of a Model A!" & so on.
