Distributor Fixed!

Houston, we fixed that problem! Just wanted to say thanks for the help with my distributor problem. My friend and I used parts from 3 distrutors to make one good one and now she runs just fine.

I was very frustrated because a simple fuel pump install became a big problem that had me parked for over a week. Hardest part was not knowing what the real problem was. I didn't have the money to just go buy a bunch of parts hoping we'd eventually find the right fix.

I plan to do the tfi upgrade in a couple of weeks and I will upgrade the distributor and module to the '78 model and really see some improvements.

nothing makes me happier than recycling parts. combining pieces from several sources to make one functioning part. it is time consuming however, and the results are mixed. glad it worked for you. its why i try to have a parts car.
