OK, it ain't pretty, but here y'go:
This is all GM stuff put together in kit form by customefis.com. With new injectors & knock sensor option I have around eleven hundred bucks in it. Other things I wouldn't mind having are a speed sensor so that it could cut fuel entirely on steep downhills in gear and a laptop re-programmable chip.

Throttle body, manifold plate, fuel lines at rear.

Throttle Position Sensor, PCV, harness along firewall. Bent stud to fit original air filter housing.

MAP sensor, fuel pump relay, crappy wiring, etc.

O2 sensor, knock sensor in block coolant drain.

ECU under passenger-side of dash. Harness running through A/C drain hole w/ special fuel-injection sealing tape.

Unneeded dash lamp pressed into service as check engine light.

I'm using an S-10 fuel tank behind the axle with the GM pump in the tank, and a metal GM filter mounted on the frame rail up by the tranny crossmember.

Hi SeriousJohnson,

I see that you have an edelbrock performer intake manifold too.
</font> Did you change your cam?</font> Do you have headers, or stock manifold?</font> Did you use rubber hose (the 250-psi one?) all the way to the back to your new tank for the pickup & return line?
</font>I'm working on getting a setup close to yours. Your previous posts convinced me to get knock & speed sensor.
Thanks,

Thanks,Running a K8600 cam, Crane springs & retainers, 3-angle valve job, .040" head mill & a bit of porting. Stock exhaust manifolds -- port-matched, 3" single exhaust. Yes, I ran 3/8" high-pressure hose from the tank for supply, but used the original steel supply line for return. Good luck with your setup!

Here is how my buddy Will put Megasquirt on his IH Travelall Will Megasquirt install (http://www.9ih.com/1010tall.html) . I dont have all the parts I need yet to finish the install on my Scout but I will soon. :D Semper Fi, John

Not a whole lot to look at, but you can see the Carter Pump that ships with the Holley TBI Pro-Jection, the TBI assembly w/the Throttle Position Sensor and an overall shot of the engine bay. This system has been up and running for about 10 years now.

The last pic is the Delco Weatherpak connectors needed in order to plug in between the harness and the Throttle Position Sensor so that I have a "Pigtail Assembly" to set the TPS voltage right if needed, just plug in this harness adapter and I have testpoint access to the three wires going to the TPS. Makes adjustments a lot easier.

In the pics of the Holley set-ups there appears to be an anti-diesel solenoid (see pic #4 of Dave's setup in spectre's link). The customefis set up did not have one. Is there a reason for this or is it something other than an anti-diesel solenoid?

The CustomEFIs/GM TBI setups have active idle control and do not need an anti-diesel solenoid.

So what is active idle control and what is the thing in pic #4 of dave's set up? And thanks for the info

Active idle control does not rely on the throttle butterflies to control idle - instead, at idle a servo controls an air bleed system and the throttle butterflies are closed or are set to a very small gap. Essentially, the computer can control the idle speed (bumping it up as needed for AC-on and cold start, dropping it as needed, etc) and renders an anti-diesel solenoid redundant.

What is in #4 is the driver's side of the TB unit as installed with the air cleaner on top of it; specifically the throttle linkage. That *is* an idle-up/anti-diesel solenoid there.
