I did a search in the archives and noticed only a few people discussing the company but no elaboration.

Anyone ever used any of the stuff listed in eagle-research.com ?

I see the products for improving carburation along with water injection, fuel management, etc.

Any field tests from you gentlemen?

maxrad,

i have all the books. my jeep is going to be the test bed as soon as i get the fuel injection working. i have been dealing with this guy for a couple of years and have e-mailed him several times and he seems to be an honest person. the books are well written and are easy to follow. he does not patent any of his inventions and only sells the books and a couple of the devices. everything in his books is built from off-the-shelf parts that are easy to aquire. i would recommend getting the HYCO and HyZor books and the water injection book to start. also if you have a carb the carb enhancer. if you have fuel injection just by the EFIE device instead of the book.

keep me posted as to what you do and i will do the same.

I just ordered the fuel savings secrets book myself as a test run.

I still wonder if anyone has their own results from these tricks and devices. The company's own testimonials sound outragious, I mean...100 mpg and claims like that. Motor homes getting over 20 mpg, etc. Seems like more leg pulling than anything.

Since I am on a quest to get over 20 mpg in my rig constantly I will try almost anything, once.

I get 100mpg, going down hill with the engine off.

maxrad,

basically, he guarantees satisfaction, so if you don't get the results you expect, he will refund the money for the books.(that was his policy last i looked).

i have spoken with him many times and he is always helpful and polite. i have had good dealings with him and would expect the same for you.

realistically though, I would not expect over 25-30 MPG unless you implemented some of the more radical fuel savers.

anyway, good luck and keep us posted.

and remember, the hard part is the 100 mile long hill...

Thanks Raw,

I will try some of the stuff advertized. I'm curious if some of the stuff can work. If we both do this we can tell of our outcomes for the rest here.

If anybody wants good mileage and they have a FSJ...they're driving the wrong truck. That's what 4 banger S10's are for, I mean they're not good for anything else.
