My 65 Gladiator has a four-speed T98 that recently started making intermittant grinding noise in fourth gear, from acceleration to decceleration and vice versa. I can make it do it at steady cruise if I lightly jockey the gas pedal. When I shift into neutral at highway speed it really gets noisy. Whatever it is, I imagine the T18 is susceptible to the same thing. Sound familiar, anybody?
