I have read several posts concerning the fuel gauges reading improperly. A few observations: 1)The one time I ran out of fuel, the gauge read just under a 1/4 tank. When I filled it up, it only held 16 gallons. That tells me the gauge is reading correctly, but the pick-up is not all the way in the bottom of the tank. 2)Heard lots of comments regarding the fuel gauge fluctuating while driving. While mine still does this a littl, it's not nearly as bad as it was before I installed the updated sending unit. This unit has a spring built into it that makes it less "bouncy". Was just wondering what everyone elses thoughts were.

My gauge does not work at all. I am trying to find out if the sender is grounded or bad. My engine temp gauge works, but none of the warning lights in that region come on. Where did you get your sender? Thanks!!

Got it through the dealer. The part may be discontinued, but have them run the part number on "locator" and some dealers should still have them in stock.
