OK, I've got the new flex-track and the instructions from the tech section. What kind of grease, if any, do I use when installing the new part? Also, is it really as easy as the instructions say?
Thanks,
David

They probably have a recommendation in the owner's manual, but I've always used ordinary axle grease. It works fine.

Thanks, I'll do it after work tomorrow and let you know how it goes. BTW, it's the rear passenger window.

David,
It might be easy, or like me, you might get stuck in one of the puzzles. Do a search under the topic you posted.
Two of the traps I can think of are:
1. The stud won't unscrew.
2. There is no stud/pin, rotate the white plastic piece 90 degrees and it will slip oit of the slotted rail that is attached to the glass.
3. You need to by a stud & nut to attach to the slotted rail because it self desttructed, was style #2 above, or you had to drill it out!
I used a silicone stick & white lithium.
