Radiator,,,2row vs. 3 or 4row

Wow! I've never seen a radiator separate at the top before. I just replaced my inadequate 2 row radiator with a 3 row ($189). In my search I found out sometime in late 1989 there was a change from a 3 row radiator to a 2 row. Go figure! If something worked better, why change to something that will fail? Aren't our rides a little 'BIG' for a scrawny radiator? No reply needed. I'm just blowing off steam :D :D . That $200 was vacation money.

cryco a car co with a reputation for building a high quality product for over 60 yrs really cheaped out on the end run wags. i suppose a case could be made that they were trying to lighten them,but they really let the quality slip.iirc,they hold a qt less coolant.dont turn on the wipers if they are frozen to the windshield, or youll find another area where they "lightened"
