I found at a friend's yard a 75 Wag with QT and hubs. Can I assume it's got a PT kit in it?
Does anyone know of a way to tell by looking at the QT if it's got a PT kit in it?

Never assume anything! ;)

Unlock the hubs, and disengage the E-Drive glovebox switch. If the front shaft spins freely, it's PT. If I'm wrong, I'll soon be corrected. ;)

The most reliable way to tell is to unbolt the inspection cover above the vacuum diaphragm. You only need to remove two 3/8" bolts. If you see splines in the inspection pocket then it is full time. If you don't see splines, then it's part time. Sometimes you need a mirror to see in the pocket if the t-case is still in the vehicle.

P.S. I have been looking for someone to trade part time kits with me. I have a part time kit with overdrive and am looking for one with out. All that needs to be traded is the main drive gear and chain. If yours turns out to be part time and your are interested in OD, let me know.

you might want to get ahold of Lindel. He had a kit for sale. He might swap if he has the parts you need.

P.S. I have the overdrive. Do you need to rock crawl?

I never had a part time kit for a QT. I'm fixing to have a part time case that I won't be using, but it's a Dana 20.
