Umm What line exactly is that, I relined a whole chassis for about $30.00. If you are needing the long one from Prop Valve to Rubber Flex hose, You can buy the line that all parts stores have, it takes two sections to get the right length, I forget the lengths I used, then get a conector to join the sections. I think it was around 15.00 for it. I am about to do it again because I lost my rear brakes after blowing this line. I will get to it in a day or two. Good Luck!

Thats the one I want. After messing with the one from the pass. rear to the splitter on the axle, and messing it up pretty good, I decided to check on a preformed one. I guess I should bend *before* installing.

I bend as I go along...........Hmmmmm That didn't sound good! I start at the Prop Valve hook up one end and work it in place as I go, but then I have a handy dandy tube bender! Still lines and fitting and bender you will come in a lot cheaper!!

Keyword: Labor Charge - at least probably 50 bucks right there at the dealer for the one hour it would likely take.
I'm assuming you're having it repaired and not just getting the parts. In that case, that price is about what's to be expected at a dealer. Don't need a dealer for that job, though.

Thats just the price for the line, more would be wanted to install LOL bet it would run $500.00 to have the dealer do the complete Job. 1985 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Hmmm Drop fuel tank, clean, discover bad fuel lines, $$$$ + $$$$ + $$$$ = ACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   :(

Geez... $20 for two sections of hard-line and a coupler (they won't have one that would run the full length). Route it above the framerail, use gentle bends by hand, and hook it all up.

So the dealer is offering up a section of steel brake line for 100+ dollars??? Jesus. Is it gold plated??? I don't think they would even have a replacement OEM line. It would just be listed in the parts database as steel line as required.
I forgot you have to drop the tank, or go around, on the Wag. Go like Bob said and get 2 sections of line from somewhere like Autozone. Probably less than 20 bucks.

I just purchased the very same brake line from the dealer for approx $25.00. Something is very wrong here. Part# J5355076 $25.50 comes pre-formed.
If this quote is for the part only I can scan/email my reciept for you so you can walk in there and say whats all this about.
It sure makes it easy to install when its pre-bent to shape slips right in! Its really refreshing in that my local dealers parts guys are really helpfull and a real pleasure to do business with, you hear mixed feelings about the dealer/stealer.
I also replaced the rubber hose going from this to the axle whilst I was at it. Part # J5360936 $20.10
Oh yeah do you want the cost of the POR 15 to treat all the rot you'll find behind the fuel tank!!!!!!! :D :D :D

The quote was just for the brake line, I in no way am abt to pay dealer labor or any other labor when I can do it myself. Oh, and I do have a bender, guess I am not to good at it. :(

No, just called another local dealer, and they had the rubber line, but would have to order the steel line. Both prices were the same as quoted by Nobby. Thanks!! BTW, would anyone happen to have the part nos. for the 2 brake lines that connect to the splitter that go to the wheel cylinders?
