Seems there was some uncertainty about the edelbrock aluminum heads as to there release date and specs. I found this information at the AMC forums this morning. You can now begin drooling :D
There will be two versions, the Performer and the Performer RPM's, difference being that the RPM's won't have a heat crossover and maybe other smog compliant features. Both will be 54cc "dual quelch chambers" (rational being, that size will allow a 9.5 CR with later engines), stock length 2.02 intake & 1.6 exhaust valves (possible options there, due to concern over the smaller bore AMC V8's), guide plates, individual studs that use standard rockers in 1.6 & 1.7 ratios, springs that allow up to .580" valve lift, 45 degree valve seats, dog leg exhaust ports @ 70cc & 185cc intake ports.
The heads will be a simple bolt on replacement, which allows stock intake & exhaust systems to be fitted. The initial test produced the following flow numbers. They should be available two weeks after the November SEMA show. I didn't ask about price.
lift.....Int. Ex.
.100"..66...52
.200"..130..96
.300"..192..127
.400"..235..162
.500"..259..181
.600"..260..190
