No joke, I've gone from 29s, to 30s, to 31s, to 32s and now 33s. From stock to 3" RC springs to current 4" BJs Offroad springs.
I cut 1.25" from the rear fenders. Haven't flexed yet but I should plenty of room... the 32" MTs fit with plenty of room.
I'll report back after I finally get a chance to hit a &$@*ing trail.

Looks good! I'm about to add a 3" body lift and about 2" of fender trimming to fit a like new set of 35's that my brother is giving me (he's going 1 ton and has to get 16/16.5 and some 38's).

These pictures are 33x10.5's? It looks great. I was thinking about running 33x10.5's too after my BJ's 4" but I don't want to cut the fenders but I have to admit, if those rear fenders are cut, they look great. Let me know if they rub. Did the 32's rub?

Yeah, they're 33s. They'd never fit without cutting the rear fenders. I really never thought I'd cut anything on Bushwood - it didn't have a ding on it when I bought it. But what the %*#$.
I'm going to put it on a RTI ramp today... okay, it's a loading dock ramp at a warehouse... I'll post some pics.
The 32s didn't rub.
SBJeep... It rides great! I'm using the ProComp shocks.

I might try that the next time I go to get tires. But I might just add a 1" block. BTW, those are some honkin weights to balance that rim out.
Manhattan, looks like mine, except mine is rustier HA HA, gotta love the northeast. see sig below. Love the new BFG KM's, Awesome. As far as the excessive wheel weights, it may have to do with the way they lined them up when mounting. There is usually paint, yellow or red dots on the tire. These dots or paint marks should be mounted directly in line with the valve stem or 180 degrees from valve stem. Learned this from some of the best tire guys around. My 33x10.50 KM's took very little weight, think the most was 1.75 ounces, not bad considering the size and style of tire.

you need to tell whoever balanced your tires to do it over. They have no idea what they are doing :(

Problem is... the guy did it for $20 as favor - he sold me the tires and mounted/balanced them for me.
Oh well, I'll wait a while 'till I knock a few weights off and pay a shop to do it.

Yeah I see what you mean about the 33's not fitting without some trimming after looking at the pic with the rear tire stuffed. Do you have any pictures of your rig with the 32's? I'd really like to see what the 32's looked like. My 31's are still in good shape but I may go with 32's if they work without cutting anything.

Mark,
Buy a 6-pack and give those tires to Blake. He's balanced many large tires (including mine) and does a great job. He'll really take his time and get it right.
Jeep looks great by the way - looking forward to our next Tellico run.

Steve... I thought I had some pics - I know I took the exact same shots as above. I went to that same loading ramp... can't find them. I'll keep looking.
But, like the 33s, the 32 required trimming. But not much at all. They rubbed just barely at the front of the rear fenders. Nothing up front.
The 33s are hitting (barely) up front at lower front corner (Yeah, I know Andrew - take that goofy piece of sheet metal off ;) ).
Brad... I may do that... good idea.

That fender cut looks good, did you do it yourself? Also, is it sharp around there now that it's been cut, or did you do something around the opening so you don't cut yourself or your tires?

Thanks - I did it myself. I used a Sawzall to start the cuts and to get through one seam. The rest (90%) was done with a jig/sabre saw.
The resulting edge was a little rough/sharp. I hit it with a sanding block - just enough take the edge off. Then I filled the gap (it's double wall) with expanding insulating foam. Then painted it black.
