I'm in the process of rebuilding a 360 for my J10 and I'm still trying to decide what cam to use. I noticed Rhoades variable lifters while looking through the Jeg's website. Has any body ever used these in an 360 or any other engine? I was thinking of going with a little hotter cam & using these lifters to help out at the lower RPM range.

I ran a Rhodes cam and lifter set in a Dodge 440 I built in high school. It was a 69 440 .030 10.2:1 forged pistons, balanced blueprinted, ported heads, over sizes valve, Rhodes cam was the Stage III 298 duration . In the Duster I stuffed it it ran a nice 12.73. Very good power, I went through a lot of tires, u-joints and speedign tickets.
The cam worked very well actually only thing you have to get used to is that at higher rpm the lifters pump up and become solid and they get loud.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to do a little more research on them and see what I can find out.
