Sunroof weatherstripping idea

I have access to a parts rig with a OEM sunroof, and I thought about retrofitting it into my GW later on, but I have been hearing that the weather stripping is next to impossible to obain. What if???? Someone removed their old OEM weather stipping, cast it in plaster of paris, and inject black silicon into the newly made mold? Would that work?

That would be nice, as I have a OEM sunroof, and I wish I had a seal for it, cause I really want to install it onto my Wag....anybody....help us out here????

you can use regular door and window weatherstripping
you can get it at lowes or home depot for like 3 bucks
only problem is it wears out quickly, so if you dont watch it, you will get rained on after 6 months or so..
