Time has come to slap on some 35s.

I don't want to use a body lift.

I don't want to trim or cut my fenders.

I don't want to use blocks in the rear.

I have read the archives on this topic.

Extensive articulation and hardcore off roading with my J10 is not the objective, but cruising some scenic trails will occaisionally happen.

My question is: Is anyone running 35x12.50x15s with 15x8 rims without any clearence problems using a 4" lift? or is the 6" lift mandatory?

What size tires are you running now?
I have a '76 J-10 and 33x12.50x15 on 15x10 rims fit under mine with no modifacations at all. I don't do any extreme off roading, just mild mud, hills and ditches when hunting. If I was getting some major articulation off road then I'd need a lift but not much of one.

I could probably shoehorn some 35's on mine the the 4" suspension lift.

O.P. ;)

I would highly recommend the 6 inch lift. You will need the room even for daily flex. I have 7 inches lift now(see web site for pic) and 38's, but 35's would be really nice under there. :D

I ran 35's on my 78 Cherokee with a 4 inch lift and I only had very minor rubbing on the rear inner tub. This was under heavy off road conditions. I keep hearing all of these people say that you need 4 inch lift and a body lift to fit 35's on a WT Cherokee and that was just not the case with mine. I have heard of others running 35's with 4 inch lifts so maybe I am not alone. I do know for a fact that 33 x 10.5 will fit with no lift at all (depending on your spring condition).
