Brake seizure

Has anyone experienced a recurring problem with a front brake seizing on due to the extended piston sticking in the caliper?

if the pads are worn real thin this could happen. a disintegrating brake hose will also cause it. a corroded piston caused it in one of my bmws. the caliper is a standard gm. a rebuilt one in the states is about 15$.

Replace the pads and the caliper..........DONE!! Not sure what a caliper is worth in England, but they are cheap here.

yep, I had them lock up on me, I changed the calipers on it, and that solved the problem.
