bob,i just saw your response to kennals front clip post. i have been contemplating swapping core supports so i can use a bigger rad,but your idea sounds much better http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/smile.gif any other mods neccessary? whats the PITA factor on moving the support thingy?

The support is held on to the assembly by a handful of spot welds. You can just drill them out and move the support over to the 2nd (inside) body mount hole. Then you can either weld or bolt back in place. Mine is bolted as my wire feed had blown a speed control at the time. It has been bolted with 1/4-20 bolts for almost 15 years (I used this core support on my old Cherokee pick up before transfering it to my 65) without a problem. I used a jig saw to with a metal blade to open up the opening. It is a couple hours work but sure beats trying to find a good one if you got a good one.
