gas gauge

i just took out old gas lines and plugged old vents see previous post.now im all done start truck up and gas gauge doesnt work now.i guess i knocked a wire off of the sending unit on top.all icould see and feel with my hand is 1 wire is this all there is?it seemed like it was connected.anything else i should look at?everytime 1 problem is fixed i get another in its place.

'Bout your one problem then another...I would say join the club but your already here. ;)

As for the wires there should be two: one for the resistance gauge and the second for the ground. I have heard that you can mount the ground to the metal ring on the tank but I had no luck. Its going to the frame this time.

its a metal tank i just dont want to drop it to see if a wire came off
