She's listing hard for'ard on da port side Cap'n!!

Well I got the body lift on no sweat :D
But, upon inspection it was listing REAL bad on the left front. We measured it to be 21/4" :eek:
My thinking is that the shocks are TOTALLY wasted as it feels like an amusement park ride if you shake it good. Would this contribute to the listing? I know my springs are shot too, and my be contributing to the problem as well!
I did find a whole new list of things to fix while crawling underneath.

Exhaust needs to be reworked rubbing on shock bodies
E-brake lines need to be rerouted-rubbing on exhaust

really would like to solve the list though for now.

Is this a new list or just since you put the body lift on? If it's new I'd guess you've got a corner botched or hanging up somewhere.
No, shocks won't cause a 2 1/4" list since they don't support the vehicle they just slow down suspension travel. Having shot springs as you say you have would be the first thing to consider. Assuming you got all the mount bolts in an left them all loose till they were all in was the body listing before you tightened them done? I'd think you either tweaked the body lift job if it's a new list or the suspension is shot if the list was there before.

I did leave everything loose and cranked them down after I was finished. You may be right though. I will undo everything and bounce stuff around with the jack tomorrow.
I was just kinda guessin' on the shock deal, to tell the truth. As far as the listing before the lift, I don't think it was. The springs are WAY flat on the side w/ the list. The opposite side looks to have a little flex. I will measure that as well.
Of course, I REALLY like the look so far!!! :cool:
I am planning to do a suspension lift as soon as I sell my XJ. Hopefully SOON :D I have had 6 people come by in the last 2 days.
