I am looking hard into lifting my 84'. Which one of these would you recommend? I would prefer to go 3" and the rough country is less expensive. I have heard Skyjacker has a really nice ride, and that the rough country is stiff but loosens up after a bit of breaking in. Please, I would like to hear all opinions on these two systems. Thanks

Ted,
This topic had risen time and time again... Skyjacker.... hands down. Yyoui canb't beat the ride or the stable flexiblitiy and articulation of the Skyjacker system. whatever you decide to get... go with four new springs and no blocks... you will be happy you did. Yes the RC is MUCH cheaper than the Skyjacker but it's worth every penny.
There are members here that run both... get as much info as you can and make your decision that's right for you.

I have the Rough Country 3" (all spring) and love it. I have not sampled the fabled SJ 4"ers to compare... but on- and off- road, The RC is great... and it's not 4 INCHES!!!
I really wanted 3... or 2.5"... and money doesn't matter... at all.
