Does anyone know if there is a screen on the suction line in the fuel tank of a 1982 Wagoneer. My inline fuel pump may be starving for fuel.

Is your pump installed close to the tank?

Yes there is a screen on the sending unit inside the gas tank. Easy to check if thats what you think it is. Pop the screws in the interior and unscrew large nut on top of tank.
