Anyone know of a good 2" lift kit? I don't want add-a-leaves or blocks, I want new springs. I'm redoing everything else I might as well get new springs. I'd like to go with BDS because of their warranty but they only have a 4" kit.

I'm really only looking for the springs. Don't need a kit or any of the other fun stuff.

Might go espo 2" over stock...

Thanks,
Anthony

Espo springs are not highly regarded among AMC folks - don't know how they rate with FSJ'ers. I have a set of Alcan springs, bought from a list member here. They custom build springs tuned to your vehicle, and how much lift you want.

be sure 2" is enough for you. I did add a leaf and gained over 2" but wish I had gone 4. Since you are replacing your springs anyways there won't be much cost difference. Take a look at FSJ's with both.

i agree, put 2" over spring on mine and wish i'd gone with the 4" skyjacker.

I'm gonna do a spring over later and am only going to run 33's for now. 2" will be more than enough for the time being. It's going to be pretty much a street rod while until I get set in at my new apartment in a couple months and get something else to drive later.

Thanks,
Anthony

My 2" ESPOs left the rear sagging (in other words, no lift in the back). I had to go back and add 1.5" blocks on the rear axle. Check out the threads on "espo". It may not happen with yours though

I am going to put a 3 inch Rough counrty lift on. There are no mods need to put it on. You can get it with or with out rear springs.

They will fix them but you have to remove them and ship them back which is not always an option. Never seen them on Jeeps though.

I took a look around Alcan's website and was very impressed so I gave them a call. Prices seemed pretty reasonable given the product and he said the price was good from stock height up to 6" of lift. SO....I think I'm going to just tweak the spring packs I've got now and then when I do the spring over go back to Alcan and have them make springs then. That way I can go stock height in the front and 6" in the back so I won't have any blocks! smile.gif

Thanks guys,
Anthony

Ok, where can I get some full-length add-a-leaves? They're pretty cheap right? Don't gotta last forever, just for a while.

Thanks,
Anthony
