Hey Rudy,
In the near future I'm thinking of replacing my chain. Where did you get yours, and how much (if I may ask). I saw one in JCWhitney for $119; it says it meets OEM specs but I'm a little leery of getting a piece of junk.

I paid like $160 or so for a real borg warner - morse chain.
I saw the whitney one too but i wouldn't even think about it. The person who sold me my Wagoneer rebuilt the case LESS than two years before i bought in in las vegas. two months after i bought it the sucker exploded on the fast lane of the freeway and locked up solid. i later found the receipt and called the shop bthat did the work. the guy said thats the chain the custumer wanted since he was going to sell it anyways. stay away from cheap chains!!!! for $40.00 more get the morse B-W unit.

I got it from a local gear shop that does what we are too afraid to do ourselves.
If you can't find one close to that price let me know.
Also Mile marker sells chains but I haven't had any experience with those.

You don't want the Milemarker chain. I got one of those. When I opened the t-case up and compared the Milemarker chain to the original chain, I put the Milemarker back in the box and returned it. After that I special ordered a Borg-Warner/Morse chain. The Borg-Warner chain was identical to the factory chain. The Milemarker chain was a low quality replacement.
If you look at the Borg-Warner chain you will notice that every link is staggered to keep bending of the pins to a minimum. While, the Milemarker and presumably the rest of the "cheap" chains double-up every link. This is cheaper to make, but it also doubles the bending moment on the pins thereby causing them to stretch, if not outright break.
If you haven't seen both types of chain, another way to tell the differnce is that you can not fold or "roll up" a Borg-Warner chain, while you can roll the generic chains up into a ball.
Like Rudy said, avoid generic chains.
