TFI upgrade prices....What do you guys think??

Prices for the TFI upgrade.

Local store.

1984 F#r$ 350

Dristributer cap base 5.99
stock cap and rotor 8.99
stock TFI coil 12.99
plug wires 8mm 29.99

But they also have the MSD performance line

Performance cap & rotor, all brass 22.99
Cap base, same as stock 5.99
MSD Blaster TFI coil 53.99

Is the MSD stuff worth the extra money.
They also had the MSD 6AL ingition control 199.99
I see that is the 3rd step.

How do the prices look. Should I shop some where else.

Lastly

They had an MSD blaster 2 coil that was cylinder and would fit in the normal coil place. is there anyting to this?

i went with the msd complete system. easier starting and cleaner acclereration, lost most of my hesitation. i need a new carb still. i also but in a rebuilt napa distributor to finish it off. the coil will work but there is a little adapter that needs to go on the top of the coil to use with the new wire for the new cap.

i am not saying you need to go msd, but alone the tfi is worth the money and time. but on the other hand make sure to use quality brass terminals and skip the bargain pieces
