Anyone had trouble with the header flange clearing the clutch linkage. If I remember correctly I have Heddman Headers and Ive had problems the two rubbing. Ive got new motor mounts and trans mounts, but that hasnt helped. Turns out its not letting my release fork work correctly. Thanks in advance.

Dont know what you mean by dog ears. The output flange on the header, collector, is a triangle style. So you cant just turn it out of the way and there is not enough clearance to grind it down. Maybe I have another issue?

Couldn't begin to tell you without looking but I was just happy to see another Reds fan (LOL) on the board.
Sorry... couldn't resist,

good to see someone from cincy on here. not too many trails here so if your rig is broken you dont get to upset about anyway. still dont know whats up with the clearance though

Depends on where the interference is, the Hedman method for clearance involves a ball pein hammer and enough room to swing it. (come to think of it, that's the method all of the header folks recommend.)
If it's interfering with the flange that may be a bigger problem though.

deifinely interfering at the collector. i guess ill just try to put the orig manifolds back on. i kinda wanted to get the additional air flow though.
