Anyone know of a good source for a brake power booster for my 90 GW? I cannot locate one. Used is fine. Thanks, Jack in VT

Napa has them as well as any other parts house. Maybe not in stock but you'd have it the next day. If he/she tells you they can't get one find another counter person that knows what they're doing.

I agree, this part should not be hard to find.

Make sure the parts monkey isn't looking up a booster for a 90 Grand Cherokee(all Jeeps are alike right?) and telling you they don't list one. There is no such thing as a 90 Grand Cherokee so impress upon him "Grand Wagoneer".

Good call Joe... hehhe... the parts monkeys are short on banana brains once in a while... :D

Thanks everyone. I found a NAPA store a couple towns away. Got a good parts guy who knew just what I wanted and the power booster will be here tomorrow AM. Price: $107. The Jeep dealer wanted $497???? Talk about a "bump"???

Cool, glad you found a store that knows cars. And yeah Chryco isn't in the business of making friends...and so far it's worked well. :(

Joe, I agree with that. I think a business or company should have a mark-up or margin to stay in biz. Only natural. But $497 vs $107 is almost criminal. I've had GW's for 19 years and the dealer is my very last resort for parts. Wish it wasn't so.
