Two simple questions

What type of window film is there on a '89 GW. I have 2 redo 2 of my windows nas wonder what kind of UV it is. Also, where do i get an original key and lock 4 my jeep. Someone replaced the driverside lock with a different one and i can only use my key for that one lock. I want 2 put the original lock back in it so i can use my rear gate, passenger lock and glove box but i dont have the key for them either. Dealership? Thanks

you should be able to get lock blanks from the dealer, and then have them or a locksmith cut them to match your key.

The window film would be an aftermarket install, meaning that a window tinter did it in the first place. It's not a factory option, that I know of, execpt on the Cherokee 2drs.

Ask a window tinter what they use to remove old film, because you can't replace it until the old film, and the old adhesive has been COMPLETELY removed. Or, just take it to the tinter, and be prepared to bite the bullet on labor.

You can get a locksmith to rekey the doors, or the whole car to use just one key, if that's what you want. I was quoted about $25 per lock for this type service.
