what axles come on a 73 wagoneer

has dana 20 transfer case.
Th400 tranny
360 engine.

need to know what axles came with it and what years front axle could i swap out the front with.

D30 front and a D44 rear.

a 74+ front axle will bolt in, but its 6 lug. If you want 5-lug you have to go to ford. Although their spring pearches are on top o the axle, not under. This will give you 7" of lift in front. So you will need something to do with the back.

Any Ford axle will have the front diff on the wrong side, not really an option in my opinion.
If you want to move to a 44 and disks up front you'll need a the brake setup from the same or similar rig.
We should talk beloth, I'm local and have a rear 6 lug 44 and front disc brake 44 setup that I may not use on the 70 wag. I might be persuaded to let it go as a package deal along with a set of NIB 6 lug 15x8 wagon wheels.

although he could usse a wag d44 front and ford knuckles and such for the 5 lug patern. But then he would still be stuck with the 19 spline rear (unless 73's had a 30 spline single piece?)

the rear d44 axles starting in late 68 were one piece 30 spline units.

1 piece D44 axles were in 70 late, AMC rigs. The early Kaiser like Tad's would be the 2 piece 19 spline. My 70 AMC model had 1 piece D44 rear axles with 5 lug bolt patern.
