CTO vacuum questions

Where does the cto get its vacuum from. Is it from the ported side of the carb or from the manifold side? Dennis

It really depends on the use of the particulat CTO, for instance the cto for your distributor gets both vacuum sources and it switches between them depending on the coolant temp. If you identify where the hoses are going we could probably help more (EGR, Dist, Diverter valve, etc.)
